Halloween

Savannah decided to be Spider-Girl. (Huh?)

JT was "Brobee" from his favorite show "Yo Gabba Gabba!"

Graham was a darling little zebra. (Sorry the picture is blurry)

We hit a Trunk-or-Treat at our stake center, then the neighborhood a little and the kids made a HAUL!

Pumpkins

We were a little late in the season this year, but we finally carved pumpkins the night before Halloween.

Graham especially had a good time.

The Birthday

We had the family birthday party for Savannah last night. She wore the birthday crown they gave her in kindergarten- all... day... long. Everything was done in rainbow colors and she loved it. She gets a kick out of the decorations... especially the balloons!

She'll have a birthday with her friends next week at a local inflatable bounce-house. She's so excited!

The Cake

The theme for Savannah's birthday was RAINBOWS. Judd made this awesome cake, using directions found on THIS blog. She loved it and it tasted delicious!!

Six Years Ago...

Six years ago, I had this...

Now I have this...

How did I get so lucky?

Farewell, My Friend

This is my friend, Bob. Although we are related, I call him my friend because saying that he is my mom's cousin's son is a bit complicated... plus he IS my friend.

Bob left yesterday for his mission to Peru. We were able to attend his missionary farewell in his ward. We love having this family close to us! They are so great!!

We wish Bob the best of luck on his mission and will pray for him continually.

Bob's grandparents, Marilyn & Paul were also able to be there. These are my mother's aunt & uncle. They are so sweet. They will be returning this summer to spend time with Bob's family, so we look forward to some get-togethers!

Applesauce Head

Last night Judd and I were talking on the couch right after dinner. We had been arguing with Savannah about eating her dinner and I had reached my limit. Judd, the ever patient one worked out a deal with her (you eat this many bites, then you can have...). She managed to choke it down and was rewarded with some applesauce.

She couldn't reach the applesauce from her seat, so she walked over to my chair, picked the jar of applesauce up and raised it clear up over her head. Why? Who knows.

The result was a SPLAT! She just started at me for about 60 seconds while I held my breath and tried to tamper down my temper. Judd busted out laughing and pretty soon I couldn't help but laughing too. Savannah, however, started crying. Not only was there applesauce all over the floor...

but she had managed to get it on her head...

and all down her back.

Las Vegas

Judd and I had the opportunity to go to Las Vegas last weekend. My mother-in-law, Bonnie, came to stay with the kids and we are so grateful!

While we were there we took the opportunity to go to the temple. Awesome!

Judd's brother, Ben, and his wife Sherrie drove up from Arizona and watched General Conference with us. It was fun to see them! Sherrie and I went out to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory inside Caesar's Palace (followed by shopping, of course!) while the boys were at the Priesthood Session.

We drove across the Hoover Dam.

We drove along the strip and checked out some of the casinos.

We even got to go into a store that is featured in a show we watched called "Pawn Stars". Judd was thrilled when we went in and discovered they were even filming right then! The cameras never turned towards us but it was exciting anyway. Judd bought me a very pretty silver and pink ring.

It was a great trip, but I was more than ready to come home and see the kids! The first few days were great, but about day 4 I really started to miss them badly.

Kid Pics

My handsome little Graham, who doesn't look a THING like my other kids!

Savannah and JT, cute as can be.
